I invite you to get acquainted with the artists and craftsmen known as saddle makers. In the Western Horseman magazine, May 2009, pages 111-116, you will witness a tribute to three champion saddle craftsmen: Chris Cheney of Rexburg, Idaho; Nancy Martiny of May, Idaho; and Jeff Hanson from Nevada.
These artists want their saddles to be used and not just created for show as cowboy decor in a tack room. I agree! Leather work as beautiful as this needs to be seen and appreciated by many riders . . . worldwide.
